Loya associates (LA) is a Partnership Firm established in Pakistan in 1978, engaged primarily in Civil/ Structural and Transportation Consulting Engineering Practice. The activities ranging from Field Survey Engineering, Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Economic Evaluation, Civil/ Structural Design, Tender and Construction Documentation, Bid Evaluation, Construction Supervision and Contract Administration.

The Firm is owned by two Partners both are Professional Engineers having extensive experience of working in USA, England and Pakistan.

A. Razzak Loya - P.E. (USA/Pak) - Managing Partner/ Founder of Company
Graduated in Civil Engineering from Pakistan in 1962. After obtaining Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from London University and Leeds University (England) worked in Consulting Engineering Firms in England, USA and Pakistan for 16 years and established LA. Since then he has transferred the technology from Western Countries on high-rise buildings, seismic design, bridges and highways. He has written 15 papers and formulated By-laws and Regulations on Seismic Design for buildings and introduced new approaches for Bridge Engineering and Earthquake Design of Buildings in Pakistan. He has received several National Awards/Recognition for his contribution to Bridge Engineering.

Khalil Ahmed - P.E. (California/ Pak) - Partner
Graduated in Civil Engineering from Pakistan in 1978 and Master's Degree from University of California, Davis, (USA), in 1980, spent 13 years serving in various consulting firms in USA and Pakistan before joining LA as Partner in 1990. He has developed well-recognized State-of-the-art computerized design of high-rise buildings, industrial structures, standardized design of highway, bridges, urban road intersections, mass transit, planning and structural design of elevated urban rail road.
